Safety news from the public record.
Fast, sourced and fair. Every item links to its records, separates allegation from finding, and invites the company to respond.
No stories published yet. The Safety Watch desk is preparing drafts from public OSHA records. Nothing appears here until identity is checked, the company has had a chance to respond, and a second editor approves it.
How a story gets here
- Public records are monitored (OSHA inspection and violation data).
- The desk's AI assistant prepares a draft and flags anything not in the record.
- A person confirms the facility is the right one.
- The company is asked to comment, with a deadline.
- A second editor reviews. Allegation, finding and settlement are labeled separately.
- The story publishes with its sources, retrieval dates and the company's response.
Company responses
When we write about a company, we publish its response in full next to the story. If it does not respond by the deadline, we say so. If you represent a company named in our coverage:
Corrections
If we got something wrong, tell us. Corrections are published visibly, dated and linked from the original story. Payment, advertising or a business relationship never changes how a correction is handled.
Corrections log: no corrections yet because no stories are published.

Tips go to a dedicated, confidential intake page that explains exactly what we can and cannot protect. This is not an anonymous system.
Standards
- Every fact traces to a source link and a retrieval date.
- "Cited" and "alleges" until a final order exists; "violated" only after one.
- Headlines are fully supported by the record; characterizations such as "worst" are not used.
- Roughly one in three items covers what is working, such as clean runs or documented corrective action.
- Payment never determines coverage, corrections or labels. We do not sell reputation management or removal of coverage.
- Sales outreach is blocked for any company with an open editorial item. Editorial requests never mention products or pricing.
